Originally called 'Drunk In Space', this took me about ten months to write. The first draft was more of a light-hearted romance, while the second was more of a horror-thriller set on a junk planet. The story changed a lot as I kept writing- the tone became darker, the page count got shorter, and an entire major character got cut entirely. By February 2024, the fifth and final draft had been completed.

This was my first time producing a project on such a scale, especially with a professional cast and a post-production team of only myself and my brother. Using Audacity and VCV Rack, we spent months creating every sound effect in the story before assembling, editing and mixing the whole thing in Logic Pro X. I then converted the resulting audio file to tape before re-digitizing it to create the final version.
